Revista Estudios Hemisféricos y Polares, del Centro de Estudios Hemisféricos y Polares, fundada el año 2010, es una publicación electrónica, semestral -julio y diciembre- (hasta el 2018 fue trimestral), bilingue, de acceso abierto, sin fines de lucro, dedicada a promover, bajo los más altos estándares de calidad y comportamiento ético, la discusión académica pluralista entre estudiantes, profesionales y público en general, sobre las realidades del Hemisferio Occidental y de las regiones polares desde perspectivas teóricas y aplicadas de las Ciencias Sociales, Humanidades y Educación.
La revista, se adhiere a la definición de Budapest Open Accesse Initiative (BOAI) de acceso abierto, donde los usuarios pueden leer, descargar, copiar, distribuir, imprimir, buscar o enlazar los textos completos sin pedir permiso previo del editor o de los autores. La única
limitación es que los autores sean reconocidos en sus derechos y citados adecuadamente.
Hemispheric & Polar Studies Journal, of the Centre for Hemispheric and Polar Studies, founded in 2010, is a bilingual, non-profit electronic publication, published each biannual -July and December- (until 2018 it was quarterly), of open access, dedicated to promote, under the highest
standards of quality and ethical behavior, the pluralistic academic discussion among students, professional and the public in general of the realities of the Western Hemisphere and the polar regions, from the theoretical and applied perspectives of the Social Sciences, Humanities and Education.
The Journal adheres to the definition of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) for open access, where the users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link the complete texts of the articles without asking for the previous permission of the editor or the authors. The only limitation is that the authors' rights must be recognized and adequately cited.
