Is a scientific journal focused on topics of general interest, covering areas such as economics, finance, administration, entrepreneurship and public policies, among other related fields. The journal is born after the need to concentrate in specific areas the works published in the journal Science and Society, which has been the main and most consistent source of promotion of academic knowledge of the Dominican Republic within the Social Sciences and Humanities since 1975.
CEN journal publishes two issues on a biannual basis, including high quality scientific and unpublished articles, technical and conceptual notes, book reviews and literature reviews, which are (double-blindly) refereed.
